Services are provided 24 hours per day, seven days per week.
PROGRAM PHILOSOPHY & GOALS
Treatment and education are provided in small, intensive group settings. The program stresses supportive counseling, social rehabilitation, independent living, group, individual, and family therapy, as well as recreation. A priority is the youth’s relationships at home and in the community. Home visits are encouraged during the youth’s transition phases (if logistically possible and per referral agency’s protocol). Youths participate in a group-living setting, work services, and employment developing upon positive home and community relationships. The anticipated average length of stay depends on the youth’s pace of success in completing the individualized treatment plan and goals. Our goal is to equip youth for successful reintegration into the community to live productive, and prosocial lives.
TYPES OF SERVICES AND TREATMENT
Youth are admitted with complex treatment needs, including extensive risk across multiple domains (e.g., mental health, school, family, peers, antisocial attitudes, substance abuse, and independent living skills), often severe cumulative traumatic exposure (abuses, neglect, household dysfunctions), behavioral health/aggression concerns, and autism spectrum disorder (level I).
We provide the 24-hour direct supervision/behavior motivation through positive reinforcement, case management, clinical, medical, vocational, and transition services, and on-site education services, in concert with physician and psychiatric services. We employ evidence-based and proven treatments, such as Trauma Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (TFCBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) and Eye Movement Desensitization. We employ time-tested, data-driven continuous quality improvement processes to improve outcomes for youth in actualizing our Investing in Excellence™ vision.
Active treatment is provided under the direction of a board-certified psychiatrist, based on an Individual Plan of Care which is 1) developed and implemented no later than 14 days after admission and reviewed every 30 days thereafter, 2) designed to achieve the youth’s successful discharge from inpatient status at the earliest possible time, and 3) predicated on the medical, psychosocial, and behavioral aspects of the youth’s individualized situation.
An Interdisciplinary treatment team develops and manages the individualized treatment plan, which is individualized to each youth based on assessment results, clinical presentation, needs and concerns among treatment team members (including youth,
parents/guardian, and referral sources).

yield benefits in behavior and social competence.
REFERRAL SOURCES & FEES
The facility accepts referrals from both in and out of state and are reviewed by the facility’s treatment team for admission. Referrals for service are based on established agreements with child placing agencies across the nation to include, but are not limited to: State and Local Social Service agencies; State Medicaid agencies; Commercial and Managed Care insurance companies; and School districts.
Fees are discussed with the referral source as well as insurance providers. We provide our services on a contractual basis with multiple agency types to include both commercial and managed care insurance companies, state and local departments of social services and state and local school districts. Each contract is executed in accordance with the placing agencies rate methodology and is based off of our published gross charges for treatment services.
